something pretty

So as the reality that Winter is really here and staying for a while sunk in,
I decided I needed a new little 'something.'
This week I bought this beautiful Phalaenopsis orchid to pretty up my family room. Couldn't resist taking a picture of it and adding a few textures to it.
Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!

Wow, what a lovely calming shot!

I have always wanted to try a Phalaenopsis orchid but I might kill it! You have inspired me to check them out.

Have the BEST weekend Gail!

That's really pretty, and what a great idea. We all deserve something so pretty to help get us through the blah days of winter.
I've never tried an orchid, but maybe I will.

Beautiful orchid, gorgeous processing.

We're thinking the same thing today. I searched my old garden pictures from last summer and posted one - just to give me a boost.

Have a great (albeit cold) week-end!

I missed your blog!! We didn't have internet access at Disney and I wasn't able to check in with some of my fave photographers. You are so inspiring. Really. Just love ALL of the photos this week.
