The changing moods of a 2 year old

The silly boy face. He was playing the recorder in the car.
The "I'm not happy with you Mommy" face.

Here's the goofy (moving) face.

(Batman of course.)
I took these 4 pics today over a period of 15 minutes. We ran a few errands and William was playing his recorder in the car. I happened to have my camera with me and took the first 3 of him in his car seat. As soon as we came inside he wanted to be Batman and asked to have his picture taken. William can be funny, silly, cantankerous, energetic, charming, delightful, social, engaging, confrontational, belligerent, demonstrative, loud, stubborn, demanding, aggressive, affectionate, loving, and is always adorable.

Too cute for words!Hmmm....stubborn? oh yeah! I laugh now as I remember reading the word "obstinate" written on the paperwork from Maggie's nanny at the orphanage..thinking to myself at that time...what an odd thing to say about our little girl... ;)

I love ALL of the adjectives you used to describe your sweet Will! The picture of "I am mad at you mommy" CRACKED ME UP! He is such a doll!

Hee hee. I LOVE the "I'm not happy with you, Mommy face."
It's always cute on some else's child. :)

The batman photo is awfully cute. My 16 year old bought a batman costume this year. Not as cute. :)Don't tell him I said so.

Have a great weekend!

Just keyed off Gail's blog over at "My Answered Prayers" and found your story. We just missed each other in Guangzhou having brought our daughter, Joanna Mei, home from China on July 24. We are 50 something first time parents and enjoying it to the max. Your family is just remarkable. Congratulations.
Joanna Mei's blog is password protected so if you'd like to jump on board, zap us an e-mail at and we'll set you up. We've come across severalothers who, like ourselves, have adopted with aging grace.

He sounds like the perfect toddler to me!
I just love how he likes to dress-up. My boys used to love doing that too....
What a grand little personality he has....and did I mention that he is adorable?

A two year old's moods are like the weather in Florida. If you don't like what is happening currently then wait ten minutes and it will change :)

Your Will is such an adorable boy and he is definitely all boy!
