favorite foto(s) Friday {beach time}

Mexico beach dgw WM

As I write this post and put some of my favorite beach pictures up,
it's overcast here in Wisconsin and pouring rain.
So these sunny pictures make me feel like I'm right back in Mexico again.
Mexico will sand WM

All are really snapshots but each has some little detail in them that I love.
The above shot with 4 year old Will in the ocean with sand on his face...

Mexico will sdy feet WM

and his cute little Fred Flintstone feet.

Mexico palm tree WM

Yes even a palm tree gets captured. I have a thing for palm trees.
Maybe because they are pretty scarce here at home.
There's something about them that I love, probably because it means I'm seeing them because we're at a tropical location.
And that usually means we're on a vacation.
Mexico grace kite WM

8 year old Grace flying a kite...

Mexico lifeguard tower WM

And finally this lifeguard tower...I captured it because I loved the shape and color.
While I was cropping this picture I noticed the seagull sitting on top of the flag pole.
I took MANY pictures while we were away, will try and keep it short and sweet and not wear out the beach theme.

And have a great weekend!

Very sweet Gail!! I need to get together w/you. I need to know your ins/outs of going to Mexico. I'm determined (contrary to what my dh says) that next August..we will be going to Mexico (or somewhere similiar). Both of my kids BD's are this week and how wonderful it would be to take them there for their BD's. Of course my dh says "Disney". We've done that 2xs and I want to do something different. So to start we need passports. :) that is my first step.

Anyway, I love love love your pictures.

Oh Gail -- those are beautiful!! Takes me right there and away from the 100 degree heat of Nebraska!!

Is it my imagination or has Grace gotten tall lately?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

LOVE these- (ok, so I say that about all of your photos) -they are like a mini-vacation for the eyes- you need to save some for the middle of January and February when we all will be craving some warm sun! ;)
Have a great weekend!

I noticed the bird right away! How cool!

I don't think anyone can get tired of beach pictures. I love looking at all the fun people had on their vacations.

Even though I see palm trees whenever I look out my back door, I will never get tire of seeing your beach photos. You are welcome to visit us anytime whenever you need a palm tree fix. ;-)

Happy weekend to you too...

Hugs,
Grace

Bring on more beach pictures, I say. Love all you've shared so far (can't get over that 8 year old body....yikes)but still want to see more.

That's waht's so great about photography. We can freeze all those special moments and go back there when it's pouring or blowing snow. (Sorry....did I just say snow? Somebody slap me!)

I'm relly enjoying your beach posts Gail. Have a great week-end!

Gail~I know you had to have had the most amazing time! I love how vivid the colors are in the pictures and how much detail comes through. Your composition(I'm too much of a novice to use that word, really) is incredible!

Glad it was a wonderful week of memories.

xoxo~
