Favorite Foto Friday

This has been a busy week, don't really know why I said that because all weeks are busy around here. Between preschool, swimming lessons and gymnastics and miscellaneous other things that pop up we've also been outside as much as we possibly can and it's been just heavenly. These pics are from our days outside this week enjoying the beautiful Spring weather. When I look at them I see a little girl growing up so fast. The time sure flies doesn't it? Thursday, Dan and I attended a meeting at her school about Kindergarten. Grace will start full time Kindergarten in the Fall. I recently had a friend comment to me about Grace beginning that milestone of "real school." My friend asked me if I was going to cry on her first day of school. I didn't lie and pretend to be all stoic and strong. I answered, "Yes, I'll be crying. I'll try to contain myself but I know it's pretty inevitable." I'm a crier and I'm fine with it. Though I have loved this time being home with her for the last 4-5 yrs, a new season of our lives is starting. Grace is ready to start school and I'm so proud of her for that. Happy Friday, hope your Friday and weekend is great wherever you may be. :)

She is so beautiful!!! I remember Chelsi being ready to go to Kindergarten as well!!! I think being an Only child made her want to be with other children.... I'll be thinking of you...and remembering the tears I shed when our first of Kindergarten came to pass...she was ready...I was NOT! hee-hee! ;(

Have a blessed Friday!!!
Love,
Denise

I was very brave while I waited at the bus stop with both of my boys for their first day of kindergarten. I put them on the bus and smiled and waved. Then after the bus pulled away, I got into my car and followed the bus. Then I was at the school when they got off of the bus and I walked them to their classroom (yes, overprotective Mom I know). Then as I was driving away from school I sobbed. Crying doesn't quit describe the tears.

Happy Friday, Gail! Once again, beautiful pictures of Miss Grace! She does look so grown up in these. I am a crier too so I did the kindergarten cry, then first grade, then second...anyway, you get the picture! ;) It is bittersweet in that you are so glad they are ready but also sad to see them go. I will pray for both of you and your transition.

She is lovely!! I get an ache just remembering what you are going through. I do not like it when change happens but at the same time its so great too. I would have put phone books on their heads to keep them from growing if it would have worked.

I have told you how much I love your blog name, right?? It is so perfect.

As you already know...She is beautiful.

Abi says the other day "HEY...That's Grace?" LOL Then says..."I think she is cool. Cooler than my brother. And they are the same age". LOL...She has only said maybe 10 words to her @ swimming lessons.

SO there you have it..not only is she beautiful...she is cool.

As for kindergarten...I cried because I was the "only" mom not crying when Corry went to school. When Abi went to school I had just had surgery so I was just glad to have a "break".

Bryant...well no I was glad when he went to school too. LOLOL

I'm a cryer....about other stuff.
