Sunshine on a cloudy day

Grace is 6 years old and one of the happiest children I've ever known. It's hard for her not to smile. I've mentioned previously how she's reading and is really taking off now. Another new thing she's just learned is how to tie her shoes. She's pretty much a girly girl but will wear dresses or pants. She loves shoes(just like her momma). She also loves to teach Will games and songs. She's the daughter I prayed for and much more.
It was actually in the 50's here yesterday and a lot of the big snow piles melted, so we spent a fair amount of time outside. We have a busy weekend ahead with swimming, church, a birthday party and I'm taking a photography class. Have a great weekend!

It's a veritable heat wave for you at 50, isn't it? Spring is getting ready...its always so exciting to me every year!

Your photography is just beautiful. It scares me when people as good as you are taking classes!

Enjoy your little treasures this weekend, I'm sure they'll keep you plenty busy!

What? A photography class? That is it! I CAN'T COME TO ANN ARBOR! You are already way ahead of me!

Seriously, I read this post this morning from Ottawa and didn't have time to post. I told you I think Miss. Grace is clever. Tying her shoe is a pretty big step for her age!

Love the picture. She is just lovely.

Hi Gail...Grace has such natural beauty. And that smile of hers is magical. I'm glad you've gotten some mild weather! Enjoy it while it lasts. We were completely spoiled last week with lots of warm sunshine, but today it is looking like snow.
Have a great weekend!

She has such a beautiful smile, I think a lot of times you can see their personalities right through their photos and hers is one of them. She just looks like a very sunshiny time of girl.
