Sunday Snapshot - With Spring's Arrival Comes Changes

Early Spring Park Diptych

It seems that the only constant in life is change.
People come and go. Things come and go.
Neighbors change. Houses change. Kids grow up.

March park 3

Some of life's changes come with challenges.

March JumpingTriptych

We've had our share lately with my husband losing his job recently.
We'll be busy wrestling with some of those challenges, so I may be blogging less.
The biggest challenge is that fear of the unknown and not knowing if we will move or stay.
You have to prepare as best as you can for whatever life may throw at you.

Grace and Will March 2012

I've thought long and hard about whether to even post this and
pretend like everything was just fine.
But it isn't.
It really isn't at all.
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

I have been thinking of you Gail.....and cannot imagine what you are going through right now. I am sure it is a very scary place to be, but I just know that things will work out for you. Try to stay strong and keep the faith.... one day at a time.

It is great to see the kids playing and having fun.... it brought a smile to my face and I am sure it did the same to you.

I'll be keeping your family in my prayers.

xoxo,

Lisa

So sorry your husband lost his job. I am sure that is very scary and unsetteling. Maybe, I am an eternal optomist, but I am under the believe that when God closes one door he opens another. He helps us grow in a way that we could never imagine if we trust in him, and usually end up in an even better place than before. Hang in there and I will definately keep your family in our prayers.

I'm so sorry, Gail. I can't imagine how stressful life is for you both right now, but keep the faith. We had two good friends who lost their jobs recently. One found another one right away and the other took a bit more time but he is at a great job again. Both in the same area. I am praying for a speedy job offer for your husband. xo, casey

Oh Gail~ I knew something wasn't right~ I just felt it. SO sorry. Scott actually went to work Friday for a BIG meeting and honestly didn't know if he would have a job afterwards. We were spared. I am so praying for you all!!! I pray your husband finds another job very soon and all is well. SO hard going through big changes. We have had a hard couple of weeks too. We found out we will not be G's parents... God has the perfect plan and I am trusting His will. Praying He will bless your precious family BIG!!! Blessings and love!

Thank you for your honesty. I think sometimes we think that we are the only ones going thru change. To watch your beautiful children growing and seeing change so often....it is okay. You will be fine...it's another step to where God intends you to be along life's path. Bless your family and I know God will direct your husband to where he needs to be next.

Oh Gail, I'm so sorry. How brave of you to post the truth and not pretend that all is well. I've been doing a lot of that pretending lately. : ( . I hope all works out quickly and you can all remain where you are...home.
