"The great purge and clean up of 2012"
I've been MIA from blogging lately and I hope to explain that a little better
eventually.
We are all healthy thankfully.
With Spring fast approaching I've been taking advantage of
the time indoors (when it's still cold outside) to take
inventory of the mess in my basement and house.
We've lived here for 6.5 years and I've never really purged our closets,
cupboards, rooms and the beast of our basement.
I would never show a 'before' pic, it would be way
too embarrassing.
Anyway, the purge and Spring clean up and organization has started
and I think it's been therapeutic in many ways.
Time to think, reflect, donate, recycle, throw away junk, and get ready for a ginormous garage sale in May.
We also have listed many things from Dan's late mother's home on Craig's List.
Have I mentioned how much I love Craig's List?
(Antique dollhouse that was my husband's Grandmother's when she was a girl).
8 kind words:
Love Spring cleaning! Hope all is well.
Hope you won't sell the dollhouse. Good to see you posting.
You know I care.
love to you.

Hi Gail, hope all is well with you and your lovely family. Every time I visit your blog, I smile. You are a special friend!
xoxo Ashley
Gail... I absolutley love the doll house. I'm always on the lookout when I go antiquing. I love the colors in his grandmothers house. just beautiful.
WOW... I can't believe how beautiful the dollhouse looks after all these years. Do the kids play with it? If so, it must be made like a brick house. Nothing like the toys of today. They fall apart just looking at them. ;-)
So happy you're finally getting through all of your things and getting ready for spring. Good things are going to happen...I can feel it!
xoxo
Am attempting something similar here - ugh! The stuff is overwhelming me!
Missed you!
Happy weekend!
I LOVE cleaning and purging too~ need to do it often. Glad to know you all are doing well and healthy!!! Miss talking! XO
What wonderful treasures! Do you live near Chicago? Is there a way to link to your craigslist and find out more about your garage sale? Thanks, Wen
