Favorite Photo Friday - Hope Springs Eternal

Portrait of  my sweet Grace, taken last Sunday.

Grace Red Sweater 2012
I had to look up the meaning of the little idiom, "Hope springs eternal."

It means that under difficult circumstances, people will always hope for the best - that better things
will come down the road. No matter how bad things have been, they can always get better.

We are hopeful and grateful.

Grateful for the outpouring of kind words and prayers for us right now.
We deeply appreciate and feel your prayers.

Dan has interviews next week out of state, so we're praying
they go well.

Thank you to so many people who have reached out to me.
(And you know who you are).

We love you all.
Enjoy these beautiful early Spring days.

love, Gail

I'm so glad he has some interviews scheduled. My husband and I have gone through this in the past and know how stressful it is playing the waiting game.

My family will be praying that the Lord carries you through and shows you his perfect will for your family.

Sending up prayers for you that everything goes well.

"Hope springs eternal." I love that... from the time when I first heard it watching The Shawshank Redemption.

You do such good work Gail! You are all still in my prayers as well. Give me a call if you want to chat more about "work"...hard to call it work when it is so rewarding and fun!

So much emotion in this shot of Grace. I can feel her thoughts & emotions pouring out through her expression & I feel like she is speaking to me. There is so much to say- but most I have already said privately. I know that God's graces are upon you. You know my prayers are certainly with you all.

Gail....sometimes the most incredible blessings come when we think everything has fallen apart. Do not lose hope and do not lose one day to worry....enjoy Dan and the children because the next wonderful adventure in all of your lives is just around the corner.
