Favorite Foto(s) Friday

These are 5 photos taken earlier in the week of my most favorite little girl in the whole wide world, my 6 year old daughter Grace. I speak a lot about Grace and what she's like and how much she means to me. There are times I think that maybe I post too many pics of my 2 young children on my blog and I shouldn't so much. With the wait to adopt from China, sometimes I think it might make people feel bad or worse if that makes any sense. I asked Lea this question in an email and she told me no, she felt that seeing Grace and William gives people hope that someday their children will be home too. May you continue to have hope during this agonizing wait. It will happen. My heart is with you all.

What sweetness captured in those pictures of your beautiful Grace.
As someone who found your blog during our wait to bring our daughter home, I can say you offer encouragement and a glimpse of the joy to come. Thanks for sharing, Gail!

What beautiful children! I just found your blog - love it! I really like your post about, "Bringing a little China into your Home." I've been trying to do this. Thanks for the great ideas. I'll certainly be checking back in!

Great photos of your beautiful Grace! She reminds me a bit of Maddy since they are about the same age. Itlooks like Grace has a dimple when she smiles and Maddy has one that shows up then sometimes too. I remember when we were waiting and it was "only" 18 months at the time and reading China adoption blogs about their daughters and/or sons and they inspired me and kept the hope alive.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

These are incredible shots of your angel! The catchlights in her eyes in the last photo are AMAZING!!! I would think it would be inspiring to see happy families, as soon it will be them, too. DON'T stop posting pics...I would be in Will and Grace withdrawals : )

Hi Gail,
Such beautiful photos of your lovely Grace! Do I see an hint of a dimple on the right? :)

Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos, it kind of gives us a hint of what a precious child she is.
I know she's a huge blessing in your life.

I know when we were waiting to adopt, everyone's photos were what I lived for.

She is breath taking. Beautiful photos mommy!

I have the photos you sent me right here beside me in my office. I have a board with clips sort of like a cloths line on my wall and they are front and centre. I bought it a PIER 1 of course!

Consider this a warning, Miss Gail...you cut the photos of those gorgeous kids and I'm on the first plane out to Siberia (or the place you live that is as cold as Siberia!). I love, love, love seeing them and would really miss them when I head on over to your blog.

I must say that when I see photos of Grace I see the most incredibly defined features, flawless skin and raven hair. She is nothing less than absolutely regal...exquisite!

Lea is absolutely right(she's so smart:) Seeing pictures of your(and others) beautiful children is the only thing keeping me going right now when I have so many doubts as to whether or not we'll make it to the end of this journey.

It gives me hope that someday I will be posting pictures of my own sweet children on my blog.

You know, when your children are on their way to college. Ha!

I feel very strongly that you do not post to many pics!

First and foremost...it is your blog. You can do whatever Gail wants to do. :o)

Your children are beautiful and even if they weren't...it's your blog.

For those parents who are waiting it gives them the hope and encouragement that this too, will one day be their life!!

You are so inpiring, Gail!!

And yes, your daughter is so stunning. She has such a look of peace about her..not just in her looks but her personality.

I love seeing G & W's pics because in their pics it truly portrays their personalities. Having met both of your children...I can really see it.

Will...the more I see those pics the more 'grown up' he seems. He has lost that baby face!

You should start calling him "SpideyWill" like they do the Riggs Family Blog (PRaying for Abby's brother...SpideyLandis). Everytime I read "SpideyLandis" I think of Will...
