Random stuff on a Wednesday

~ I have been getting verklempt about anything and everything...a song I hear, reading blogs(certainly not all of them), but there are some folks out there going through very tough times right now.... hey I'll cry just thinking about how much I love my children. Must be my peri-menopausal body. I can imagine what it will be like for me when I do go through menopause.
~ I have officially started my Christmas shopping. Got a ways to go.
~ I still don't really 'get' Facebook and don't know if I ever will.
~ The Halloween candy in the pantry calls my name every single day. It says, "Gail...I'm here....waiting for you to come over and check me out." Ugh.
~ William wears his Halloween costume now all the time, he has 2. Batman and Spiderman. Not sure which one he'll be on Halloween. Also not sure if he'll go trick-or-treating, might be too much for him and that's okay.
~ I'll be happy when this presidential election is over...it's getting ugly and I'm so tired of it all.
~ Dan and I think that William has "Fred Flintstone feet." They are about as wide as they are long, little squares almost in shape. Extremely cute.

Have not even made my Christmas list yet....you are way ahead of me!

Not only is the Halloween candy calling my name, so is the pumpkin bread, and Italian Cookies....HELP!!

I also have Fred F. feet....I wear a size 5.5 and when I was a child I needed shoes that came in an E width.....my Dad always teased me and said that I would be better off wearing the box they came in!!

Have a great week!

Eli has Fred Flintstone feet, so I totally get what you are talking about :)
I can't wait for the election to end either.
And it looks like we have a little Peter Pan this year.

I hear you about the Halloween candy!

Two of my children have those kind of feet too!

Good for you starting your shopping. I think I may just do some in Chicago!

Also, I am not sure what I will do when your presidential election is over. I am addicted to US politics. But you are so right it is getting pretty nasty. It is kinda scary.

I also hear you on loving your children so much. It is a pretty amazing feeling as well as an annoying feeling at times. Ah, the good with the bad. Life is like that!

Yes, thank goodness you and I still have our humor cuz that peri menopause is getting to me too. I think it is too cruel to be raising toddlers and going through this stage of my life.

Hey, I am on facebook too. I do not totally get it either, especially the weird gifts.

As far as the halloween candy calling your name..just add that to the list to everything in the cupboard calling mine ;-)

Keep on, keepin on my SFAM!

Oh yea!!!! I have a friend who is getting into the Christmas spirit too!!! I have been listening to Christmas music for a few weeks now...and I have wrapped a few presents!!! I just love this time of year!
And.....as for the candy...well....I am right there with ya!
I totally agree about the election...it is such a shame that everybody just can't "play nice"! Tells me a lot about the character of each!
Have a blessed Thursday, sweet friend!

1 day...that's it...before I was lured to the bag of snickers "fun size". Next year, it's gonna be granola or circus peanuts!

The Halloween candies may be calling you, but the Girl Scout cookies are calling my name. I have absolutely no self-control... it's humiliating.

Bennett and William are so similar -- we were JUST talking about Bennett's feet today! The same!
