Yep, it's almost that time. Halloween is Friday. Dan was home this afternoon and while William was taking a nap we did our annual pre-Halloween ritual of the carving of the pumpkins. Grace has been anxiously waiting to do this since we picked the pumpkins over a week ago. She helped clean them all out and even carved her own with some help. William woke up right as we were carving his so he got to see some of the process too. It was better not to have a 2 year old 'assist' with his own pumpkin. A 2 year old wielding a knife probably isn't a good thing. ;)
10 kind words:
Great pictures of some memory-making fun-Grace's pumpkin is terrific! Will- or rather, Batman looks ready for some trick or treating!
Fun Fun pics and I agree with the post above!!!
These will be wonderful memories
Dan looks like he has carved more than his fair share of pumpkins....they look terrific....and it looks like everyone had a lot of fun in the process!

Great pumpkins. Tell Grace I am impressed!
Yes, I so agree about knife weilding toddlers. I failed to mention in my blog that Ethan picked up one of the knives the day thast we carved ours and was walking straight at my back with it to "show me" Can you imagine??
Hope that it is a spooktacular Halloween for your dynamic duo :)
How sweet is that! William looks adorable. Can't wait to see what Miss Grace will dress up as!
