Two roads diverged in a wood, and I
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
~ Robert Frost
And who would have thought that through a series of events
that our adoption journey would change directions and we would adopt a 2 and 1/2 year old little boy.
Who is now a funny, affectionate, giggling, cute little booty-shaking, adorable, brave, polite, gifted,
He has changed in ways that would have been hard to imagine 3 years ago.
And all in good ways.
In the last year he's blossomed and grown in his emotional maturity
and shows great compassion to others.
He's a caring, loving child.
Happy 3 years my youngest son,
I love you to the moon and back.
We have been endlessly blessed to have you in our lives.
Love,
Mommy

Per Will's request, we'll celebrate his 3rd Forever Family Day with Chinese noodles for dinner
and a Lightning McQueen cake for dessert. ;)
(Taken 4 days ago of our handsome guy.)

I laughed at the booty shot, since we have a booty shaking, tongue sticking out type as well. They think they're so cute! Well, they are. Will's choice of celebration meal sounds yummy; perfect for a little super hero in the making.

He certainly knows what to do in front of the camera- what a handsome guy he is!!
It is our family day today too! My 5yr. old is the light of my families life. It is 2yrs for us. Enjoy your celebration...my daughter wanted special cupcakes. I bought them at our favorite bakery. I couldn't think of baking in this heat!
That Robert Frost quote is simply perfect, 3 years ago, similiar timeframe to ourselves, SN adoption was certainly a road less travelled by, but look at Will...
What an incredible boy he is. You have been SO blessed, so unbelievably blessed.
happy 3 years indeed - and I adore that both 3 years ago and today, he still has a love for lightening mcqueen!
Jill
PS - I did link back to the post when you got Will and I hope you don't mind me saying this, but your photography has changed in an incredible way since then. It gives me hope that I can (maybe!)get better! :)
