28/52 - sweet Molly

12/24/1999 - 07/14/2011

28/52 - Molly

One of the last images of Molly, taken a few days ago.
She adored Grace and William.

Today our Molly went to heaven.
This is hands down the hardest decision I've ever had to make.
Our hearts are broken, and we will never forget you... sweet pup.

Oh Gail, I'm so sorry for you and your family. Having so recently made that horrible decision on behalf of our beloved dog, I know exactly how your heart is hurting right now.

One of the most lingering absences will be in the upcoming weeks and months when you come home and have no one to greet you at the door, after 10 months I still feel Rudy's absence when I open the door to my home.

Peace and hugs to you, my friend. And one more thing...the book "Dog Heaven" by Cynthia Rylant may be very helpful to Grace and Will. A lovely book that has helped my children through the loss of their beloved Rudy.

You and your beautiful family will be in my prayers! I am truly, truly so sorry. There is a beautiful book titled Cold Noses at the Pearly Gates. It might give you a bit of comfort. I fully believe that our furbabies are in heaven with Jesus!

Gail, I am SO sorry for the loss of your sweet girl. It is so hard. You made a decision based in love, a final act to show Molly how much you loved her. She is not suffering. I know you are heartbroken. I am so sorry. Run free, sweet Molly. Love and hugs to you all.
