So this is the time of the year that I start to get a bit whiny...and truly wonder why we live in Wisconsin when Dan could easily get a job in San Diego which is a huge area for Biotech. So why do we live in a place of the 'never ending Winter?' It's because the area where we live has some of the best schools and medical care in the country, not to mention easy access to Chicago and so many friends and family nearby. I get a major case of cabin fever in late February. So do my kids, especially Grace. Yesterday when she begged to go outside and play in the new snow I had to oblige. It was 18 degrees with a single digit wind chill. She went to make her snow angel and her facial expression in one of the collage pics show her feeling a tad bit cold and maybe not so sure of her decision to lay down in that freezing cold stuff. Of course Grace being a kid managed to forget about it and stayed outside for half an hour. BTW 'date night' went fabulously well...when Dan and I got in the car and left for the restaurant, it was just so quiet. Quiet...what a concept and very much appreciated now and then for me. You sometimes forget in the task at hand of raising children that there is a relationship between mommy and daddy and that does need to be taken care of too. So believe me there will be more date nights in the future! And Mr. Will did extremely well. :)

..Beautiful photos of your snow angel! I am with you on the cabin fever thing...I find it helps to start planning the garden- rethink landscaping, etc...anything to help me remember that sooner than we know, spring will be here. Just yesterday, I noticed some little snowdrop flowers emerging from the ground...and also, the appearance of robins everywhere...
So glad you and Dan enjoyed your well-deserved date night, and that Will did well...
Have a good week!
I understand cabin fever ... it's minus 20 here today. I love Grace's snowsuit, it's so bright and cheerful!
Beautiful photos! So colorful and pretty even in all that snow!
Your date night sounds wonderful! We all do need that sometimes, don't we! Glad to hear that Will did so well!
Have a good week! Sending warm thoughts your way!
Janet
I hear ya on the cabin fever. Will spring ever get here?
Glad date night went well. We too could sure use a few of those.
My little Hannah loves your song playing on your blog. She's sitting here right now singing along. She won't let me close until it's over. To funny!
LOVE the snow photos..
I would not be able to live in Snow..
it is way to cold for me..
But I kind of get cabin fever when it is sooo hot ~ due to not having the windows and doors open.. I like air flowing through the house..
Glad your date night was GREAT..
Hugs..
have a great day..
OH my gosh, Gail! These photos are spectacular! I love them! That's it. I am not coming to Ann Arbor! LOL!
We are suppose to get some spring like weather by the end of the week. But, I just e-mailed that to you!

Gosh, that looks so darn cold! I agree, you take some great pictures of your kids to treasure.
Hi Gail,

The winters are long, but spring is coming soon.....hang in there!!
Glad to hear that you had a great date night:)

I love these photos sooo much! I do long for spring, however, we never get snow. It is so sad that Paige hasn't ever played in it many times. May just have to come visit Wisconsin!
Beautiful little snow bunny!
Oh, I know!! Bring on spring!!
Great pictures of Grace. I just LOVE her coat!! I am always looking for bright and colorful coats with patterns.
Glad to hear your date night went well.
Cabin Fever never looked so cute! Love those pictures of Miss. Grace.
Sounds like you had a nice, peaceful date!! When's the next one scheduled?
I have the fever too.....I wonder why I'm in Chicago all the time since I am from CA....We need to meet up in Chicago one day for lunch...I am not far from Kenosha.
The pictures are so cute...I would love to tell you the snow looks beautiful but at this point it just looks white and cold LOL Grace on the other hand is beautiful!!!! : )
I have been hiding out, living life and staying way to busy. I took a few moments to visit some of my favorite blogs tonight and have so enjoyed catching up. I am loving your new camera and can see how addicting it could be as it takes unbelievably beautiful pictures. I am a little over the snow and if it doesn't stop here soon, we will be in school year round this year. Ugh! Here is to a swift Spring.
Hi Gail, you should come visit me! It is going to be close to 70 this week...This is only a tease, though. It happens all the time. Next week, we could be buried in snow!
Love your little snow angel!
Love the snow photos. The colors in Grace's jacket against the snow is great. 30 mins is about 29mins longer than I could do!
I so understand cabin fever....we are going nuts here as well....we are such a "summer family".....sounds like a fabulous date night....glad to hear Will did well....I am praying Andrew loves and excepts us.....
Hugs,
Steffie
