46/52 and texture Tuesday - the Phoebe eDition

November marsh

We're transitioning to Winter here in Wisconsin...yes it's coming soon.
I've been in denial about it's arrival, but need to come to acceptance.
The snow will be here.

Taken yesterday of these cattails on a marsh overlooking a pond
 near our home.
I used two layers of Kim's 'Phoebe' texture,
one in overlay and the other in soft light.

Gorgeous shot and processing - we don't seem to have many cat tails here anymore. Just those fluffy stocks everywhere.

And I know how you're feeling about what's coming. We'll commiserate together.

What a beautiful Blog and gorgeous image with exceptional processing. Thank you. I was raised in LaCrosse and hope to return late spring to visit family. I recall the hard winters with gobs of snow - and, here I have now been in Alaska for over 40 years! I am not quite ready this year either. But, thankful to be here! Smiles. Will visit again next time. kareninkenai

I've got to start experimenting with two layers of texture, never occured to me to do that.
